Joyce Stoer Cordi, Managing Principal

Ms. Cordi is a versatile, innovative but practical executive with more than 20 years experience in business transformation projects for high technology, consumer manufacturing, large box and specialty retailing, transportation, and health care clients, as well as state and federal government agencies and higher education institutions She has personally delivered consulting engagements contributing an estimated $1Billion to clients’ bottom lines.

Experience advising both technology vendor clients and technology user clients has given her a unique perspective about the technology industry and its impact on the 21st century economy. This perspective allows her to “think outside the box” guiding her clients away from “bleeding edge” decisions with high risk and unintended consequences.

She has touched almost every major business segment in the 21st century economy and worked with a variety of clients ranging from mature, multi-national Fortune 50/500/1000 companies to embryonic start-ups across high technology, consumer goods manufacturing, transportation, government, retail, insurance and banking.

Prior to founding Cordi and Associates, Ms. Cordi was employed in consulting management roles at Gartner Inc., Price Waterhouse, Computer Science Corp, and the Alexander Group. Her functional management experience includes Intel Corporation and Unisys Corporation.

Cordi and Associates was founded in 2004. This boutique consultancy specializes in Research-based Consulting. Research-based Consulting requires more up-front investment to create an objective-third-party fact-based understanding of both current situation and future state opportunity. This investment pays larger dividends for our clients in two ways. First, it leads to quicker solutions and earlier improved operating results. Second, it helps our team to guide clients away from “bleeding edge” decisions with high risk and unexpected consequences. Facts are the enemy of assumption!
